How Necromancers Are Made

Out in the ice-ridden lands, lost souls wander the desolate landscape, looking for their old body, once full of warm life and memories. As time goes on, the souls begin to forget who they once were, the cold stripping away everything they used to be, and without their original body that is needed to be guided to the next world, these souls become as cold and harsh as the land they roam through.
Decades, and centuries pass. The souls become envious towards the living, unfeeling and ruthless, angry they could never feel such warmth again. Soon they are drawn towards the remaining bones they spent an age trying to find. They struggle in vain. Soon they become trapped in a hollow, ice cold skeleton, finally getting their wish to walk the earth again.
