Another concept for my Victorian Assassin's Creed theme. I don't much like the pistol holster right now, but I'm racing against the last scraps of my laptop battery, so I've got to make do with it.
I tried my best to label sections of the pistol, but PLEASE don't take my word for it, because I don't know the first thing about guns, except not to point them at someone. So naturally, I've used a lot of reference for this. I have a few more ideas sketched out, so will hopefully upload their concepts soon!
No worries ^_^ I'm not very great with mechanics to tell you the truth, it's probably one of my weakest points in drawing. I'll keep your comment in mind though for the future, I hate seeing props that aren't functionable, so I'll try to phase that out of my own designs in time.
I prefer much older weaponary to new weaponary like guns, but it's good to understand all aspects of it and thank you muchly for your help, it's much appreciated ^_^ i might end up doing more wepon concepts in the future when i'm back at uni, so deffo something to look out for
you know the thing thats the saftey trigger isnt a saftey in a real flintlock style gun, its to make the sparks with the hammer to ignite the flashpowder, the actual saftye is the hammer being at half-cocked position
