EDIT: Added an example of how the piece would be worn and what it would look like, which I'll tell you was damn difficult to do, yet pretty interesting. Also changed and added some extra notes for anyone who is interested. :)

So I've set myself a stupid little goal to try and create a few designs for an Assassin's Creed character based in Victorian London. I've always thought it would be a good era to do if there ever was a game since it had amazing inventions, world-famous landscapes and Jack the Ripper. ;)

So after finally completing AC Brotherhood, I got round to this. I'll try to add more ideas and concepts onto it as I go, but I want to do this quite detailed and y'know...like a proper concept artist would. Call it practice. :D

I just wanna say that I really like the idea behind this but the functionality isn't quite right. It would be preferable to have the blade mechanism on top of the forearm rather than beneath because the blades are thin and could be used to get an unwary enemies eyes or to deliver poison more effectively. Just thought I'd offer and weapon fanatics insights. :)

Thank you for the critique! :) Mechanics of weapons is a topic I need to brush up on, since industrial things aren't my strong point when it comes to concepts. If I end up revamping this design, I'll be taking your insights into consideration, since I don't have much experience with this kind of subject :blush: thanks again! :hug:

You're very welcome. I have this weird thing where if I look at or hold a weapon, I learn how best to use it or make it work. Hidden blades are some of my favorites. If you go into my gallery and look for my claw-blade hookblade design, I think you'll be interested. ^^ :hug:

That's a pretty cool skill though, something like that would really help me with my designs if I could do that. xD Hidden blades are awesome, glad that the AC series have kept them as a foundational weapon still. Nice designs in your gallery btw, really interesting to look through! ^_^
